Brand & Digital Designer
We are looking for a Brand & Web Designer who wants to work above their title, thinks in systems and strategy, understands that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and sees powerful storytelling and design as essential to future-proofing companies with outsized impact.
Who you are (in a nutshell)
3-6 years design experience in venture, startup, technology, or founder-led environments is a strong plus.
Brand identity is your sweet spot. You’ve built or helped ship full brand systems and applied them across a wide range of touchpoints: digital and IRL.
You’re fluent in Figma, a variety of web platforms, and familiarity with motion tools is a bonus.
You actively incorporate AI into your creative workflow—experimenting with it not as novelty, but as leverage. You use it to expand thinking, accelerate exploration, and build out the systems you concept and art direct.
You design from positioning and narrative outward.
You’re strategic by instinct, autonomous, disciplined, and accountable.
You’re comfortable owning projects and contributing in client conversations.
You can articulate the rationale behind your creative decisions with confidence and clarity.
You are energized by innovation, ambition, and category-defining ideas.
You’re growth-minded in your own career and motivated by impact.
Develop sophisticated, original brand systems
Develop brand systems with discernment and taste, considering brand architecture holistically and executing across web, decks, social, editorial, and motion.
Translate complex, technical, or future-facing ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives. Basically, design from story outward, building visual arcs and pattern languages, not just assets.
Think beyond isolated deliverables to cohesive systems and scalable frameworks.
Contribute original ideas that raise the creative bar across every project.
Signal-driven creative & clear over clever
Design work that earns attention through clarity and intelligence, not trend-chasing.
Maintain restraint, coherence, and intention across touchpoints.
Exercises sharp creative judgment with taste, editing and filtering ruthlessly, elevating only what strengthens the signal.
Maintain the highest standards of craft, keeping systems clean and scalable, under fast-moving timelines.
Balance speed with intentionality, understanding that velocity does not excuse sloppiness.
AI-native & future-oriented
Integrate AI tools fluently into your creative process—for ideation, exploration, prototyping, and workflow efficiency.
Use generative tools as leverage, not aesthetic shortcuts.
Experiment with motion systems, dynamic visuals, and emerging formats when strategically appropriate.
Evolve your workflows in response to new technologies and tools.
Collaborative, reliable creative partner
Participate actively in critique, bringing references, context, and informed perspective.
Actively participate in team discussions, bringing informed opinions and thoughtful viewpoints.
Thrive working cross-functionally with leadership, strategists, writers, designers, developers, and clients.
Operate as a true team player—generous with ideas, receptive to feedback, and invested in collective wins.
Confident presenting and defending creative rationale.
Energized by collaborative refinement and iteration.
Understand how design supports business objectives, fundraising narratives, and growth milestones.
Proactively communicate timelines and progress, ensuring the team is never left in the dark about project statuses.
Flag risks and issues early and offer solutions.
Excel in your own autonomy and take pride in your reliability as these qualities build trust, internally and externally.
